2 days in Melbourne (post 3)

We had a funny day on Friday. It was our first full day here, but the jet lag played a big part. we were both awake at 4 in the morning and we couldn't get back to sleep.

We went down for breakfast and found that the the road we are staying on is named after me.

We eventually ventured out and took advantage of the free tram zone in the city center. We did use the tourist tram first and then the ordinary tram, all for free.

We went back to the hotel early, and even though we hadn't eaten, we tried to overcome the jet leg, but both fell asleep before 10 o'clock.

Best day so far

On Saturday we had a easy day, with a trip to Docklands area. We played mini golf in a florescent lighting course. it was a great hour, mainly because I beat Wilma by 2 shots. We only did that because we were waiting to go into a art installation called Artvo.

There are large mural type pictures and you stand in front of them and you become part of the picture. Here are a few that we took.

After that we went to the Marvel stadium to see our first game of big bash cricket.

A great time was had by all.
