Wilma found an Irish bar on the internet and we made our way there. It was just a bar so we had a drink then want in search of somewhere to eat. Just down the road was another Irish themed pub that did food. We had a great meal. Wilma had lasagne I had beer and ale pie After that we had a nice

Brisbane (Blog 6)
We arrived in Brisbane at about 10 o'clock at night after a long flight from Hong Kong so it was straight to bed. the next day we had nothing planned so we took our time to go and have a look around Brisbane city center. i took the chance to get my computer problem sorted out. we took advantage, as we did every other day, of taking the free Spring Hill loop bus back to the hotel. We found out later that there were two free bus's and all other public transport was 50 cents

FYI (Blog 4)
I have had a few technical difficulties during this holiday. It all started on the Thursday night, the night before we left. I put my laptop on charge about 6 o'clock, but didn't notice the charging light didn't come on. Then about 11 o'clock I was getting the last of my things ready. I noticed that the computer hadn't charged, so I checked the charger, and the computer. I took the computer with me to Hong Kong along with the charger hoping I could get a charger to get the

This nearly didn't happen (Blog 2)
Just after Christmas I had a really bad pain in my right buttock. I attended A&E at Monkland's hospital using my crutch to keep me upright. I saw a doctor who gave me some co-codamol and sent me home referring me to my orthopedic doctor as the pain was in my pelvis. The next day the orthopedic doctor got in touch and referred me to my hematology team. They thought that my Myeloma was coming back. I was sent for an x-ray, and after that I had an MRI scan, after all that it

This is how it started (Blog 1)
It all started when I received an email from Trailfinders. A round the world trip using business class on airplanes. Starting in London, to Singapore, New Zealand, Vancouver and then back to London. It was a month-long trip that sounded interesting, but the price was a bit on the high side. 1 I phoned up to make a couple of enquiries. 2 Can we swap out Singapore for Hong Kong 3 Can it be done economy instead of business
