After our busy couple of days in Wellington and Rotorua we ended our tour of New Zealand at more sedate pace. We stayed with Wilma's cousin Alisdair and his family June, Mhari and Scott.

We reminisced with a trip to Mission bay, a place we went to 16 and a half years ago to see if it was any different. It was just as we remembered it. The only thing was we couldn't get Kirsty to go in the fountain as she had done all those years ago.
I went for a paddle. It was my first, and only one, in New Zealand. I had had a couple in Australia.
Another memory was going up the Auckland sky tower, which we did again. But before that we paid a visit to Weta Unleashed. It is owned by the people who ran the workshop we saw in Wellington, but had a different concept. The idea was that they had created three films, but they wern't going to be released, but all the process for making a film was followed so that they could show people how films are made.

As the concepts belonged to Weta we could take as many photos as we wanted. so here a a few that we took.

We were in there for nearly 2 hours, then after a bite to eat we went int the Skytower. That was not my most memorable experience. Even though I've been in a helicopter this holiday and thoroughly enjoyed being high above the buildings, I don't like being in high places. I
have also been in the Sydney Eye while on this holiday so I should be used to them.

We also went for a meal to one of the restaurants that Megan had recommended the whole family went including Mhari's partner Chris and Scott's girlfriend Azara. The restaurant is called Wildfire and is a Brazilian style all you can eat meatfeast. We all ate well that night.

We are on our on our way to Singapore next. I will be putting that blog up once I get home, but hopefully it will be a good one.
